This 80-page one-shot collects a rare prelude story originally published in the Marvel Made Paragon Collection: Chris Claremont, previously only available in a limited edition hardcover. The prelude, illustrated by Salvador Larroca, explores how the surviving X-Men saved Rachel Summers from her torment as a Hound and reveals surprising faces that played a vital role in the mutant resistance. Additionally, the issue reprints the original "Days of Future Past" saga from X-Men (1963) #141 and Uncanny X-Men (1981) #142 by Chris Claremont and John Byrne.
