What is a pre-order?

A pre-order is an order for an item in advance of release date. This purchase model allows us to reserve your order within the allocated amount provided to us. Pre-order windows vary by product, and the estimated ship window will be provided on the product page for each individual item.

Can I cancel a pre-order?

You can cancel your pre-order at any time before the week of release. If you paid for your order early then you will be refunded in full minus a 5% processing fee. Processing fees cover the charges by the payment processor.

If I order items that are available immediately along with a preorder, will they ship separately?

To minimize the environmental impact of shipping, all items ordered with a pre-order item will ship together in a single shipment. If you need an item sooner than the pre-order window, we recommend placing a separate order for the pre-order item to avoid delays for the rest of your order.

If you prefer to have in-stock items shipped separately from your pre-orders, please email us at hello@shopville.ca. A flat rate shipping fee will apply to each separate shipment.

Expected Release Date

Pre-order items on our website include an "Expected Release Date" in the product description. These dates are estimates and may change. Product releases can be earlier or delayed due to factors like production issues, manufacturer delays, and shipping logistics. We aim to deliver products as soon as possible.

Why Release Dates Vary

Manufacturers have different methods for estimating release dates. The main production phases are:

  2. Assembly and Packaging
  3. Distribution to Wholesalers and Retailers

Delays can occur at any stage. Larger productions may involve international distribution, leading to different release times across regions and retailers.
