Le Havre - Including Le Grand Hameau Expansion [Board Game, 1-5 Players] Board Game Z-Man Games
Description

From Uwe Rosenberg, the acclaimed designer of Agricola, comes Le Havre from Z-Man Games, a Euro-style game of harbor management, building ships, and constructing buildings. Gather valuable resources and upgrade them to more expensive commodities while making the best use of invested properties and buildings in your quest to accumulate the largest fortune!

In Le Havre, a player's turn consists of two parts: First, distribute newly supplied goods onto the offer spaces; then take an action. As an action, players may choose either to take all goods of one type from an offer space or to use one of the available buildings. Building actions allow players to upgrade goods, sell them or use them to build their own buildings and ships.

Buildings are both an investment opportunity and a revenue stream, as players must pay an entry fee to use buildings that they do not own. Ships, on the other hand, are primarily used to provide the food that is needed to feed the workers.

After every seven turns, the round ends: players' cattle and grain may multiply through a Harvest, and players must feed their workers. After a fixed number of rounds, each player may carry out one final action, and then the game ends. Players add the value of their buildings and ships to their cash reserves. The player who has amassed the largest fortune is the winner.

Le Grand Hameau Expansion

Le Grand Hameau is the first official non-promo expansion set to Le Havre. It contains 30 new Special Buildings plus 3 cards with corrections to misprints from the base game. The deck is playable by itself (replacing the Special Building deck from the base game) or you can mix it with all the other Special Buildings. The new buildings were designed by several BGG users and developed by Uwe Rosenberg and Grzegorz Kobiela.

Goods are acquired and refined, ships built, and whoever has the greatest fortune at the end wins. It was clear…. So many possibilities! So little time until the end of the round!

Features:

  • For 1-5 players.
  • 30-150 minutes of playtime.
  • Includes the Le Grand Hameau Expansion.
  • Whoever has the greatest fortune at the end wins.
  • So many possibilities! So little time until the end of the round!
  • Le Havre is an economic construction strategy game designed by Uwe Rosenberg.
