Description

Inis the board game from Christian Martinez and Matagot is a game deeply rooted in Celtic history and lore in which players win by being elected King of the Island.

Long before St. Patrick arrived, even before the Romans glimpsed its shores, Ireland was a contested place. Peoples were lured there by its thick forests, bright green fields, and swift-flowing rivers. The battles, marriages, and quests of these peoples are remembered and brought alive in the board game Inis.

Designed by Christian Martinez and lavishly produced by Matagot, Inis a two-to-four player board game that immerses you in Ireland’s fierce heroes, enchanted objects, and beautiful mist-covered landscape. Your goal in Inis is to become Ireland’s first High King.

Features:

  • Leadership: Be the leader — i.e., have more clan figures than any other player — of territories containing at least six opponents' clans.
  • Land: Have your clans present in at least six different territories.
  • Religion: Have your clans present in territories that collectively contain at least six sanctuaries.

I highly recommend to buy games from this respectful company. Their customer service response time just unbeatable even compare to Amazon or other big retail company. Long story in short, I ordered wrong game for order cancellation, I thought most of reply template will be "Sorry to hear that, but order has been processed." But the customer service replied me under 15 min, and informed me the refund.

My purchase arrived in two days. I needed to follow up to confirm something and when I emailed their customer service I actually got a human with a name. We corresponded! It felt like I was talking to the owner and that he had time for me and really cared. These are the good guys and I need to remember to go to Shopville first when purchasing online.
