Rush is a 2013 biographical sports drama film directed by Ron Howard. The film tells the story of the intense rivalry between two Formula One drivers, James Hunt and Niki Lauda, during the 1976 season.

The film begins by introducing the charismatic and reckless British driver James Hunt (Chris Hemsworth) and the methodical and disciplined Austrian driver Niki Lauda (Daniel Brühl). As the two drivers begin their careers in Formula One racing, their contrasting personalities and driving styles make them bitter rivals on the track.

The rivalry reaches its peak during the 1976 season, when Hunt and Lauda battle for the championship title. Lauda takes an early lead in the championship, but a near-fatal crash at the German Grand Prix leaves him badly burned and fighting for his life. Despite his injuries, Lauda makes a miraculous comeback just six weeks later to compete in the Italian Grand Prix.

As the season comes to a close, Hunt and Lauda continue to push each other to the limit in a series of intense races. In the end, Hunt wins the championship by a single point, but the fierce competition has left a lasting impression on both drivers!
