Black Swan is a psychological thriller released in 2010 that delves into the dark and intense world of professional ballet. Nina's relationships with her overbearing mother Erica (played by Barbara Hershey) and her supportive but enigmatic mentor Beth (played by Winona Ryder) also add to the complexity of her psychological state.
