Canada Post Strike 2025

Important Shipping Update: Canada Post Strike

As of last night, the Canadian Union of Postal Workers (CUPW) has launched a nationwide strike, effectively halting Canada Post’s regular operations. This sudden disruption impacts mail and parcel deliveries across the country.

What This Means for Your Orders:

  • Mail and parcels already in the Canada Post network may be delayed or stuck in transit.

  • If your order was already shipped with Canada Post before the strike began, there may be delays even after regular operations resume.

  • Shipments through Canada Post no longer have guaranteed delivery dates.

Shopville’s Game Plan:

  • We are now using UPS as our main carrier, working closely together to keep your packages moving.

  • You still have the same shipping perks, with no changes to free shipping thresholds.

  • We are re-shipping any orders not already sent out with Canada Post through UPS.

Where We Can’t Ship Right Now:

  • We’re sorry to announce that we are unable to ship to PO Boxes, as well as addresses in the Northwest Territories, Yukon, and Nunavut, during the Canada Post strike.

We’re In This Together

We know delays aren’t fun, so we’re working hard to get you your orders as quickly as possible. Thank you for your patience and support as we respond to this situation. We’ll keep this page updated as new info drops.
